§ 06.1 / Contractor role
Working with contractors
Hovermarks has a built-in Contractor role — limited access to complete inspections, capture photos, and sign off work, with settings, billing, and user management locked down. Contractors count as ordinary team members against your plan's user limit. No separate per-seat fee, no bolt-on, no maths.
§ 06.2 / AI features
AI is opt-in per tenant, with a hard monthly cost cap.
AI features (photo quality gate, certificate text extraction, natural-language asset search) are off by default and opt-in per tenant. Once enabled, monthly Azure costs are capped per plan: Starter $6 · Professional $24 · Enterprise $120. Approaching the cap shows a warning; exceeding it gracefully disables AI for the rest of the calendar month with no impact on core features.
