The cycles below come from the NFPA standards and the jurisdiction, not from Hovermarks. What changes with software is where the record lives and whether it is tied to the device that was checked.
Fire sprinkler systems
NFPA 25. Weekly or monthly gauges and valves, quarterly alarm devices, annual inspection, 5-year internal.
Record per system component with the date, the result and who did it.
Fire alarm systems
NFPA 72. Monthly to annual per Table 14.3.1, with waterflow and supervisory devices semi-annual in the 2025 edition.
Inspection and test record per device.
Portable extinguishers
NFPA 10. Monthly visual, annual maintenance, 6-year internal examination, hydrostatic test at 5 or 12 years.

Use case
How a multi-site FM provider would use it
