If you are a contractor working in a jurisdiction that mandates portal submission, you will file through the portal separately, and software with a native integration will save you that step. Hovermarks holds the owner-side record the NFPA standards require, which is a different job from filing to a jurisdiction.
- Can an AHJ or insurer verify a report?
- Yes. Every PDF report carries a QR code and hash that anyone can re-verify against the live record at the public verify page, with no Hovermarks login. That is the difference between a defensible record and a reprintable one.
